One on left is a million times better.. Looks fantastic. I do think the skin tone that shows looks more natural on the right, on the left it might be too blended in.

Wow, you can easily see improvement jw, the hair is amazing, the 'new' eyes are better too

Great to see how good this looks, the front image was the only let down for me. It's just so much of an improvement over the original.. Great stuff bud :)

Now that I've discovered the self shot function on my phone's camera, I can make better use of my own body as a model.

For this one, I got myself in a similar light to the Joker in the source material (light coming over my top left), and took a few snaps in the pose. Then I cropped out my arms, positioned them on the image and traced them. Then just used the original photo from my phone as a reference for the shading.

I find it's quite difficult to adjust light on things like fingers, so it's best to try and get it as close as possible in the photos. Even though my phone is pretty low res (apparently 5MP, but in reality nothing close) I find it a useful tool.
