Looks great Andy - but I think he would bend his arm a little higher up. His upper right arm (left to us, the viewers) is too long now, making the lower part seem very small. I think if you started the bend in the same horisintal height as the top most crinkle of the other arms' bend, it would be better. Se below for better explanation-

The highlights on Harvey's forearm sleeve could use some intensifying; right now it looks flat compared to the rest of him.

The picture of Ra's al Ghul that Darksaber posted could work if you can tilt his head a little more upright.

Nice work on Two-face kernie, but yeah, his arm is still a bit off. I think it's the forearm thats too short.

Wow... tough crowd. :( :(

Yes, I know the arm looks like crap... I'll fix it. I was rushing to post an update before I went out for the evening and didn't take enough of a second look at it.

How about the rest? I was pretty proud of the two-face effect and coin animation, but apparently all of that hard work is being overshadowed by the gimpy arm. :(

Thanks DS for the Ra's pic... I'll try to use it! :D

Great work on creating 2face...hey I wish I could do that kind of stuff.

Sometimes people don't comment on something that is obviously good, cause it's good, that's just life, it's like at work, you pretty much never hear anything positive when things are going well but one little snafoo and it's all you hear about.

Looking forward to seeing your plans for the back when you get there.
I have no comments that could in any way help you so I'll keep just enjoying the creation mate.

Nightrider pretty much summed it up, not to say that you haven't done a great job on his face and suit you have :) I doubt many people could pull it off :) the detail you have put into him is outstanding, after placement you don't see half of it, due to catwoman covering most of his body, so it's nice to see the results before the placement.

Now to get back to moaning :) just going on the image of two face on the cover after placement, I think he could use a little more saturation, or orange, as he seems a little pale, if you look at batman he has a orange hue to his face and body, the same with banes arms and catwoman's ear/face which seems to be coming from the right of the cover.

I'm not sure if you had time to do some colour correcting as you said you were going out for the evening and wanted to show a preview.

As for Ra's I'm sure you might have come across it yourself in time as I only found it by googling and was the only full bodied image of Ra's I could find, even trying to find full bodied images of Liam Neeson seems to be difficult.

Anyhow great job, looking forward to more previews

:agree:

I'm sorry I didn't ALSO point out all the places where this sky rockets! I was merely trying to help; and think the coin animation is SPLENDID! Wow! Sorry I didn't post that at the same I was nagging about the arm. I'm just glad, that thru it all, you still find the energy to fix this MINOR problem, as I'm sure it is after all the other work you put into 2face.

Keep going - and wait for the Hurrahs and OMGs in your eventual Showcase thread! :thumb:

Better...??? :D

[attachment=21200:two_face_revised.jpg]

Of course, if the arm still looks like crap, I could always go with the original arm and lose the coin flipping idea (although I think the coin flip thing is definitely a signature pose for Harvey/Two-Face... like in Bruce Timm's design of Two-Face for Batman: TAS).

[attachment=21201:two_face...ed_noarm.jpg] [attachment=21202:0605a_timmtwoface.jpg]

And yes, DS... I'll continue to tweak the color on the actual cover. But remember, Two-Face is further back and further to the left than Batman, so whatever the source of the orange highlight is on Bats, 'Face is much further away from it. He's on the "blue-er" side of the cover, so he won't have the strong orange highlights that the characters on the right side do.
