Probably, they look excallent on silver foil !! (only Seasons 1 - 4 through). Must look into redoing this if there are more seasons out there, I only just picked up Season 5 !!

Yep sure is

For me it was a matter of necessity. I was running out of room, especially with every series of the Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Stargate franchises. The first covers I actually made though were for old stuff, documentaries I had recorded form TV onto my first DVD Recorder. Horizon Voyager 1 & 2 Special, Savage Earth, a couple of other Horizon, QED and Eqinox documentaries as well, so they'd look nice on a shelf. I used to do this sort of stuff in PowerPoint!! While I used Paint Shop Pro 7.04 to do the artwork, and I actually still use this version.

Then, along came the huge sets mentioned at he beginning of the post so off I went on a search online and found a cover site that I cannot even remember - and that was it. I decided to give it a go and here I am. I really still make covers for myself when I need them, I then share them if I think that they're good enough. I have rarely done requests, but I have done a few of them in the past. I did one collaboration (sort of) with tmscrapbook.

I love doing it. It saves space as well which of course was the point of the whole thing in the beginning. Problem is I am now running out of room again as the collection keeps getting bigger.

My story is pretty simple.
I registered on the Polish site of the covers "Okladkomaniacy" only to downloaded cover to the movies. I had no idea about the existence of Photoshop, and Paint was a great mystery to me .
I was an ordinary leech, convinced of their own totally without talent, downloaded covers without giving anything in return.
After a while I felt a little silly, so I added a few worthless posters, I wrote several posts hopeless, and ..... I downloaded covers.
and again, something I began to bite, I do not know, unless conscience, in all did not suspect that I have a conscience, but still.
I installed Photoshop, the first thought OMG, whore mother, crazy, impossible for me. I tried and tried, until I came to the conclusion that I can insert a "cover" on the forum. I was wrong. is there a forum "to improve" I could not get out a month, it is wrong, that, too bad., but I'm a little stubborn. I managed to win.
Of course I did not win without the help of others, people who managed this site, Matush, but also, Dany and Slygado.
I registered in the other foreign sites, I met wonderful people, masters of covers, saw that Photoshop and other graphics programs do not have boundaries.
Only limited by your imagination.
And though it's just for fun, I love it
