That sounds like great news Fubster, I sincerely hope everything works out with your method of tracking these low lifes.

If Jayhawk was anywhere near a decent kind of a guy then he'd give either Bazzah or Fubster the IP address of this reprobate and although I've had no contact with him personally from what I've read and heard I'd say it's infinitely more likely that I'll see the second coming than that ever happening.

I just sent bazzah a pm but someone just went ona frenzy and uploaded a ton of kernie's comic blu-rays covers giving him credit this time but I still don't think he wanted them there.

I also found the matching labels and two wanted covers by marker and Mr.Henrydog uploaded over there. I sent jayhawk a pm and posted something in their forum hopefully they'll get tired of fixing the names and just crack down.

WOW. I wrote a whole positive message about being understanding, then I went onto R1DB... :lol2:

Today I made this comment on my "stolen" covers: "This cover, like all of my Blu-ray covers, can be found for free at bunnydojo.com/blog" That's all. No request for any action to be taken, no anger, no negativity. What happened? The comments were removed and I was downgraded from Master Designer to Limited for linking to an external site. I no longer have access. :lol2:

All of my covers are still there ( ), but, when logged in, I am unable to view any part of the site.

If Jayhawk lacks cooperation in stopping the practice, it's because he thinks (or thought in the past) that we're making covers using "stolen" materials, so what right do we have to call our covers "stolen?" I'm sure everyone in this thread has watched a downloaded film at least once over the past decade, and maybe 10% or more do so regularly. Is the person or site you get the film from a source of evil, or is it someone doing you a favor and sharing a cool movie with you? I realize it isn't a 1:1 comparison, but it's close enough.

I don't condone any of it or think highly of, say, Jayhawk for letting it go on. But if half the people don't care about your reaction and the other half don't even realize the problem, the likelihood of positive change is limited. Knowing Fubster, he has a few clever tricks up his sleeve, but a supplementary course of action might just be to delight in this community and enjoy that it's a celebration of creativity and friends sharing a love of movies and design rather than merely a cover repository.[/quote]
