And I didn't really do much to Dredd's helmet except for some Levels and Hue/Saturation adjustments. However, if you look at the actual poster art below, you'll notice that it's just Dredd's head (and I didn't actually use the low-res example below, it's just what I grabbed off google to demonstrate), I added the shoulders/upper body from the second image because I didn't like how his head just floated on black (it made the cover look a lot less interesting). I'm actually surprised how well the two blended together, considering how one's a photo and the other is an illustration.
I didn't even notice, very cool! Between the over-the-top nature of Stallone to begin with and the styling you've been using on these covers, it's amazing how well that worked out. Even at full-size, it doesn't draw too much attention to itself.

Thanks for noticing some of the smaller things, Punisherchad and BunnyDojo!!

As for your remaining titles, Punisher... well, a few of them will be a part of my next update (unfortunately not all of them... yet). But I think I can safely say your collection should be complete by the end of summer... unless you buy more stuff! :P

And norse_sage, thanks so much and welcome to the site! I'm very flattered to hear my covers are what drew you to this site! But don't forget to check out some of the other designers work as well!! A lot of folks more talented than I contribute here!! :D :D :D

The only thing getting me to buy more stuff is new stuff or awesome covers you have that make me go, "dammit, I do need The Mask, Mystery Men, and both Men in Black movies." That said I will get your IM2, Kick-a$$, Losers, and Jonah Hex covers once you update them with the retail specs, at least I think you still do that. I'm happy you're doing the covers at all, if I get 1 or none per update it's still great to see the detail and precision.

More updates!!

First up are the original 1973 Super Friends shows, released in two separate volumes by Warner Bros. I really don't understand the way that WB decided to release the various incarnations of the series, or why they went with artwork that doesn't match the style of the Hanna Barbera series, but whatever... this should (to the best of my knowledge) complete all of the Super Friends sets on DVD.

Super Friends: Volume 1:

Super Friends: Volume 2:

And here are a few titles that I'm sure Punisherchad will be glad to see: 30 Days of Night, Constantine, and Road to Perdition!

30 Days of Night:

Constantine:

Road to Perdition:

I have a few others that I'm cooking up, but they're not quite done yet, including The Spirit and the upcoming Superman/Batman: Apocalypse animated movie. So stay tuned!! :D :D :D

The blood on 30DoN is amazing and I like that you didn't use stark white for the TT!
The TT on Constantine is PERFECT! I'd still love to see one with a TT for Hellblazer, after all that's really the title, they just slapped Constantine on it because they thought the audience would confuse it for Hellboy. One of those things, like how Blade 2 is actually Blade II: Blood Hunt. I know it's Constantine NOT Hellblazer but I'll always wonder what it would have looked like but that TT makes me ok with the fact that I probably won't see a Kernie82 version with Hellblazer on it. IT'S A WONDERFULL COVER!
The Road To Perdition cover should have looked that good retail, very clean, very green!

Printing KA, the losers, constantine, road to P, 30DoN tomorrow, only 4 more and my set's up to current! Until IM2 and Jonah Hex come out that is. I also have no shortage of printed covers that I need to buy the dvds for (screw on head, maxx, spawn, a couple DC animated flicks, a couple of Marvel Animated flicks). I may even splurg the 10.99 for howard the duck....maybe...the Phantom is $8 on blu at Wal-mart right now if you can find it.

Glad to hear you like the new batch, Punisherchad!! :D :D

But now I'm afraid I'm going to have to get into a nerd-argument with you...

I'm not going to make a "Constantine" cover with the title "Hellblazer." The movie is called "Constantine," regardless of what the original comic book was called, "Hellblazer" is not "really the title," it was an early working title that was eventually changed. I think to acknowledge the distinction by making two covers with two different titles for the same movie would further add to the confusion. I understand where you're coming from, but I think custom covers should keep a few key things intact, like the title of the film. I mean, I'd prefer "The Wizard of Oz" to be known as "Dumb Tart Falls Into Pig-pen and Dreams a Stupid Dream," but I'm not going to make a custom with that title. :D :D

And as far as I know, "Blade II: Blood Hunt" was only a working title and I don't think it was ever released in any market with "Blood Hunt" on the film's title card. As far as I'm concerned, working titles should not be considered the same as the official final title... unless you'd rather see "Return of the Jedi" called "Blue Harvest."

Bottom line is, I go by what comes up on the screen at the beginning of the film and/or what is listed as the official title on IMDB.

That being said, I'm going to try to have your whole collection wrapped in my covers by the end of July!! And I'll update my IM2 and Jonah Hex covers as soon as official details are released from the studio!

Punisherchad just has to think to himself that it was based on Hellblazer but the actual title of the film was "Constantine" :)

Anyhooo well done again on this new batch Kernie, you've done us proud again :)

Agree with you in the Super Friends artwork, why change the format, strange, thanks for those though :) appreciate the hard work

Thanks again, now to search for my copy of Road to Perdition
