I think the only thing that can make this better is if you guys stop blending the edges of your pics! Leave the edges open, and let the next designer figure out what to do with them!
It's starting to look less like a worm (continuous image), and more like a mural with a bunch of pictures (however awesome they may be).
Don't be afraid to give the next challenger an interesting edge to work with! This isn't just a chance to show off your mad skillz, it's also a chance to see how well you can use the previous image and let it influence your own.
Just my two pennies worth...

I happen to fully agree with Relocator on this. I did a google search on "graphic worm", and probably found a dozen other examples, they are worth perusing to see what works and what doesn't. I think the key is finding that balance between a solid color edge and an edge that is just too complex. At this point, though, I'd rather us take the risk of having the edge be too complex, because far too many images are going to the single color edge. My $0.02.

I have to agree, i found a image on the web that graphically shows how to set up your image.

easylife's image added...
I've managed to recruit a couple of other people to add "M" & "N" --- so voetzoeker, if you ca do "O" -- then that would be great --- unless you prefer a "P" - lol
