Do any of you have any objections to me posting your final scores for public viewing? I would remove the individual category scores, and show the final scores (with the added 68 points) along with the comments you have supplied.

I have no issues with you posting my entire scorecard as is. There isn't a comment on mine that I did not expect to be public. I think most designers could use my positive and constructive feedback and I would hope they would have a chance to read it. I'm not concerned about hurt feelings. They knew they'd be scrutinized when they entered the comp. :D

I realized that I don't enjoy judging other people's covers (unless they're beating me in a HiResChallenge ;) ) and could preemptively empathize with the sting of some of the comments and scores... but, like Kernie said, they knew they'd be scrutinized. It's better to know the reasoning, so they can either say "I should have fixed that" or "This judge is a fool."

I have posted the results. Can you please double check your comments and scores for me? To be honest with you all, I have had a very stressful day, and my head is not very straight at the moment. I would appreciate you checking I haven't made any mistakes. If I have, please let me know asap so I can get it updated.

Thanks.

"...this cover perfectly suits Jackson's bloated film."
Kernie is our Simon Cowell. Your comments were right-on, though: King Kong was a textbook competition-winning cover, really well done, with a lot of hard work on display... but, with a lot of familiarity, many small mistakes, etc.

Although "big" won the round, I think the scores prove that each designer's style is on fairly equal footing. If bpmford had just a little more structure in his cover or M0vieM0nster had just a little more self-assuredness in his, they could've taken this one by surprise.

The entry I came up with as a seat-filler in case Darren only received seven probably would've hit around M0vieM0nster at 4th-5th ( http://www.hirescovers.net/gallery/display....php?pid=124108 ).

Well, I for one thought it was very insightful to read you guys' comments. I wish I could make such elaborate and splendid ones as Andrew, detailed, but to-the-point as Tim, or even getting away with bullet style comments like Paris! :D :D

I hope my short comments did some good; comparing my thoughts with your comments let me to believe I could've done a better job. For that I'm truly sorry; my head is elsewhere these days.
If you allow me to Judge in future competitions, Darr I promise to spend some more time scrutinizing and elaborate my comments on the entries.

Jolly, no need to apologize at all! Your comments were wholly sufficient! And I really appreciate you continuing to judge, despite your current personal situation. :)
