Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Andrew's theme here is for Avengers and the marvel studios movie or Spider-man and the X-Men would be in the cover. It would make sense that a villians cover would be from the movies of the guys on his cover...

Looks great Kernie!
How about rotating Cap a degree or so clockwise? Would lessen the 'contact' between his shoulder and Iron Man's hand, and set his head neatly in the centre of the gap between Thor's head and Iron Man's hand.
Only a tiny adjustment; I realise how many different elements you have to consider.

It's a cool thought, but all but one (maybe two) of those villains aren't part of the "Marvel Cinematic Universe." This cover is only for the movies that share the same continuity and lead up to Avengers: Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America.

Of the villains you mentioned, only Abomination would apply (I probably wouldn't reuse Hulk). I like your idea, and it probably would be cool, but I'm sticking to only those films mentioned above, as they all crossover with each other.

I'm pondering some sort of "villain" collage for the back cover of this Avengers collection... :chin: :chin:

Sounds like it could be a fun line-up... maybe even some Frost Giants, Justin Hammer, Arnim Zola, and Thunderbolt Ross.

Can anyone help me with some good promo pics of them? Or better yet... some layered poster that I can pull some transparent PNG's from? Just trying to think ahead...

I'd also like to incorporate some "S.H.I.E.L.D. Data Vault" stuff into the cover, kind of like the Cerebro text details that I included on my X-Men: First Class cover... :chin: :chin:

@ jwshaw... I rotated Cap's upper body about 2 degrees to the right to make it fit that gap better. It will be included in the next update...

Still thinking...

Any ideas on other things to do to this front cover?
