I'm actually surprised that covers that don't use any of the movie imagery are getting such positive response!
Given how many nice Potter sets are out there -- including from this project's biggest fan, Filipe -- I was a little worried when you mentioned you were thinking of starting this one. Alas, there was nothing to worry about. :)

As someone who isn't usually a big fan of completely foregoing movie-related images, this is winning me over. Great work framing and enhancing that artwork, you have a really vibrant set on your hands that makes perfect sense given how many Potter film fans love the books as well. Intense speed too, very impressive. I'm happy for you that people are getting so excited about the set. :)

Not to get too ahead, but what are your thoughts on the Blu-ray spines? Is there enough width for the current setup, or are you thinking of the Harry Potter lightning bolt logo and title together on one line, the way they are for the retail discs?

At first I wasn't sure how these would go with that book art as covers, glad to say you have a great eye and imagination, seeing the bigger picture as it were, you've converted me, they are really something :)

Very nice sets, it's amazing what you come up with when you want to be creative. :thumb:

And the DVD spines...

I'll try to start converting to Blu-ray tomorrow, but I might have other work that will take priority over cover-making, sadly... :(
