For those keeping score:
No Splatters: RRJR84
Splatters: Everyone Else
That settles it. Splatters are staying! Sorry, RRJR, but you've been out-voted on this one...
I like the splatters too. Like donger and easylife said, they add something to the cover and mix things up a bit from all the other rectangular, hard-edged elements of the cover.

I like the splatters too, it's like a transition between the TT the green rectangle and the pic of Karloff, I say keep it too
Shaping up really nice Andy

Really? We had to vote for splatters?? Lol...Kernie, the TT looks fantastic, the splatters have got to stay, cause your right, they break up the rigidity, the keep your eyes from just seeing squares and rectangles. Keep up the great work Kern, and hurry up, lol. I wanna print it, lol.

Keep the splatter like you have, but don't have it just on the "poster/border" area. Expand it like you did on the 2nd page, where you had already designed the back cover. I think it would flow a little better if you did, as of now it looks like the splatters are just restricted, from being an ink splat which is random. Hopefully that made sense!
Good work, look forward to seeing these!

Not sure if I'm following you... do you want me to have the splatter overlap the white border around the edge of the front cover? So that it breaks the bounds of the Frankenstein/windmill/lighting frame?
If so, I was kind of thinking that as well... just haven't had any time to devote to it in the last few days.
EDIT:
Like this? I'm not sure... what do others think??!!
