but
Is it Titans Comics or Titan Comics? On the Film cover you have Titan on the TV cover you have Titans added "S"
Oops... it's Titan Comics. Not sure how I messed that up. It's fixed now.

Kernie's Weekly Cover Update #51: Legion of Super Heroes!
[Click image to view in gallery]

Here's another DC show that I decided to revamp to coincide with the recent Blu-ray release from Warner Bros. Unfortunately, this one's a bit tricky, so allow me to explain...

The Legion of Super Heroes animated series from 2006 has had a very unusual release history on physical media, so I'll try my best to break down how WB went about releasing the show...

Volume 1: Episodes 1-4 - Released August 2007
Volume 2: Episodes 5-8 - Released February 2008
Volume 3: Episodes 9-13 - Released Sept. 2008

Back in 2009... rather than doing separate "Volume" covers for such a limited amount of episodes, I created one "Season 1" cover that was meant to hold all 3 discs from the individual releases. WB eventually released a "3-pack" for Season 1, but it was literally just the 3 previously released DVD cases bundled together in separate amaray cases. To my knowledge, no official release of Season 1 in a single DVD case was ever produced.

When I made the Season 1 cover, I also created one for Season 2, even though no episodes from the second season were ever officially released on DVD at that time.

Jump ahead about 12 years...

In Summer 2020, WB announces a 3-disc Complete Series set of the show on Blu-ray (but no complete series DVD release) AND an official release of "Season 2" in a single package containing 2 DVD discs.

So here's what I did...

On DVD, I've made covers for Season 1 and 2, but no complete series cover set, since the show did not receive an official release of the whole series together in one package on DVD.

On Blu-ray, I've made a cover for the complete series set, but not the individual seasons, since they were only released on Blu-ray as part of the complete set.

I realize this is all confusing and I anticipate some people might not like the way I've chosen to do this. Resources are quite limited and I'm trying to get the job done without making tons of variant versions. Since this show doesn't have an extremely high level of popularity, I hope what I've done here will be sufficient. I'd wager many of you probably don't even care about this show, so please just take these for what they are and kindly avoid requesting a "Complete Series DVD" or "Season Set Blu-ray" covers as well.

With all of that out of the way, here are revised DVD covers and a brand new Blu-ray cover for Legion of Super Heroes!
