Actually not that long at all... an hour or two. I'm pretty quick with the Pen Tool in Illustrator. Aside from the detail in the face, the character design is pretty simple fortunately.

I know I don't need to apologize for anything, but if I don't explain why I'm more silent than usual, I get PM's checking to make sure I'm still alive.
Speedz0r wrote:QUOTE (Speedz0r @ Sep 19 2020, 02:06 AM) is there anything you can't do?
The only thing I can't seem to do is make a cover for Season 5 of Fear the Walking Dead!

I've gotten so many PM's about that cover it's starting to get really annoying.

October sounds like a good month to upload some horror-themed covers like the Walking Dead shows, doesn't it? ;) ;)

Unfortunately, one cover per week means being patient as I get to each new item on the list.

No need to FEAR, the WALKING DEAD will be arriving soon... they're just a little slow... because they're traveling on foot... and they're dead... :D

Awesome update to older covers kernie!
Thanks for showing us some of the things you do,Sometimes i think alittle above and beyond with regarding little nick nacks regarding quality stuff alot of us wouldn't even notice unless you point it out but in my opinion its goes to show you(us) how dedicated and the amount of time you put into each cover( little too much sometimes i think) :p but as a designer it shows us the amount of passion you have for it.
Thanks again, the mighty K with latest editions :)

If that's the case, I'll put in less time on future covers, Joe!

Note to self: must... make... crappier... covers! The people want less effort. Gotcha! :D :D :D

Would you even be capable of that, Kernie? Somehow, I feel like that'd be in direct opposition of your personality and work ethic.

So with that said, there's nothing you can't do ;) . One cover a week is insane and a lot. Especially when we know the amount of work you put into them, the fact that people still bother you and can't be patient and just wait to see what you do next is sad :( . Maybe we should make it so only admins can PM you :p

Such an amazing collection, pity I don't have this in my collection, not a fan of the animated Batman, but October is starting to sound like a good month to look forward to, as for the slow moving zombies, have you not seen the remake dawn of the dead, those things were olympic sprinters...I sit with quiet anticipation of what is to come

What..the? Sorry K,
You've taken what i said completely wrong wrong,
I was only only giving you feedback and commenting but being sarcastic? Thats completely fine thats your choice, thats your freedom of speech and all :)
I never said anything about making sh*t covers or what people want.
I've never said your work is crap or anything of the sort, you know on multiple occasions,i think the complete opposite, its awesome work.
What i meant to say before was I think your way/far too hard on yourself with perfection just a little when it comes to regarding covers things like resources and things alike sometimes like you strive for 150% when 100% is very perfect enough is what i mean.
when you dont need to be so hard on yourself/making further more work for yourself when comes to resources/cover related things, your work and amount of details is far beyond approach without the extra miles,is what i meant before.
My comment before was neither meant to be a good/bad like a putdown on u or or your work or anything like that,u've taken it the wrong way so my apoligizes, wasnt in a malicous context in anyway shape or form.
So hopefully you get now what i meant by with my last comment.

Hahaha normally i get called joelene from the bloody dolly parton song but joe, that is a 1st tho! :p
But anyway i'll say thanks again for your time and effort with the upgraded cover so thanks again K! :)

I should be the one apologizing. When I wrote my sarcastic comment late last night, I meant it jokingly in good fun. Reading it back now, I realize it could be misinterpreted as much more negative and mean-spirited. I knew that your comment was meant to be complimentary and my response was intended to be read in a more light-hearted, upbeat, "I'll try to do worse next time" tone. I always seem to forget how easily sarcasm can go the wrong way when not read in the proper context. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for the compliment.

One thing you'll have to learn about me though... when it comes to design and other things that I am passionate about, I can't just give 100%. Striving for 150% is what pushes me to grow, improve, and learn more. My current covers are a result of that desire for constant improvement and not settling for less. It's who I am. Fish have to swim, birds have to fly.

On a side note... what is your name? I always read it as "Joe Lazza." Is it "Joel Azza?" "Joe L. Azza?" "Joelaz Za?" Sorry for the mistake! :D :D :D

Forgive and forget,it is late and too tired for sh*t. All good.
Yeah i see with your updates how really really in depth you delve into and all the extra miles you go to ontop of everything else you do in the process of steps,as a designer you really go the extra miles is all i was saying.
Above and beyond, and then some.
its Joel Azza.First and middle name put together,an old friend used to call me it so it kinda stuck ever since then.
P.s with all the zombie talk around here...hurry up october! hanging for walking dead finale.
