amazing cover as always

about the show..... don't waste you time ..... the main villain Alice is great but ruby rose is so ordinary
all love story / love interest thing's is so cheezy and boring as f..... . the fight scene look cheap most of the time and I don't talk about the storyline

in fact I'm surprise the show get a season 2

Awesome work again Kernie!

The whole show isn’t very good at all and I personally don’t rate Ruby Rose as an actress, so hopefully this is a good thing and the show gets better when they choose a new actress.

Kernie's Weekly Cover Update #14: Black Lightning: Season 3
[Click image to view in gallery]

Here's another DC/CW show I haven't had the chance to watch. It's a struggle just keeping up with Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Legends... not to mention Batwoman, Stargirl, Titans, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, and Swamp Thing. DC is certainly throwing everything at the television to see what sticks!

Anyone watch Black Lightning, and is it worth checking out? I liked his brief appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earths, but that's about as much as I know about the character.

Enjoy and see you next week! :D :D :D

Not sure about all of the live action stuff, but Harley Quinn has been hilarious!!! Definitely not for kids, though! Almost as many f-bombs as a Scorsese movie. Thanks for the update, Kernie!

I watched a few episodes of Harley Quinn and I liked it, then I got sidetracked but I intend to return to it soon. Unfortunately due to its content, I have to find time to watch it when the kids are asleep (and on a night when I'm not so exhausted that I don't fall asleep about 5 minutes into the first episode).

I'm not a prude, but I'm getting tired of DC's sophomoric mentality that f-bombs and other vulgarity immediately makes something more clever, humorous, mature, or edgy. The Harley Quinn show is a rare exception, because it is genuinely entertaining. But the random profanity and gratuitous gore in something like Justice League Dark: Apokolips War and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (and even the recent live-action Birds of Prey) don't enhance the story or the overall movie. I'd like Harley Quinn even more if being profane felt fresh and different, but it seems like DC feels the need to include mature content in everything they do these days.

Awesome covers Kernie!

I’ve not watched anything of Black Lightning other than the crossover like you, will be interesting to see what others think of it to see if it worth the watch.
