Sorry I was getting mixed up with Justice League's villain Steppenwolf (awful CGI again)

Wonder Woman's villian was Ares play by David Thewlis, he's a good actor in other films, but he as the choice for Ares was just wrong.

I agree with Hearttlight about the third act though, it was a mess

Kernie's End-of-Summer Cover Extravaganza 2019 - #8: Batman: Hush
[Click image to view in gallery]

Not sure why DC insists on making these "adaptations" fit into the animated "DC Universe" continuity. I don't pay enough attention to the connectivity of these films to appreciate it, and I would much prefer more faithful representations of the source material, in terms of both story, characters, and aesthetics. The Jim Lee-inspired keyart for this film is awesome, but the animation is just more of the cheap, stiff, Phil Bourassa-style (nothing against Bourassa as an artist, I'm just growing tired of his "look" across all of these DC animated movies and Young Justice).

Great work as always Kernie!

A little late to the party but thanks for the gold explanation, I always struggle picking good gold colours as like you said it’s easy to make it look brown if you choose to dark - I usually haven’t used that many stops so going to try this tomorrow and see the outcome I get for some work I’m currently working on.

Awesome looking covers, love the colors you've used on the main cover, the keyart is wonderful, really well done

Thank so much

Not knowing the source material, I don't know what differs in the story, I thought it was a pretty good though :)

Thanks again for the wonderful covers again

Ah the start of the multitude of DC Series covers, there must be at least 11 lol

Arrow, only one more series to go, wahoo, it should have finished a couple of seasons back but that's my opinion, some series linger on while others get cancelled after just one or two episodes or seasons.

To the cover, it fits in well for the main theme of the this series :)

I have a feeling it might be Black Lightning S2 next though I maybe wrong :)

Thanks again
