It does look grainy, but I made the mistaken of falttening the artwork....Not used to having a lot of layers and i don't name them(I know... I should!) and putting them in groups...
but actually if you look at the image at 100% it doesn't look that bad(This is pride f?!?#!#! with me....like marcelus says to butch in pulp fiction..lol)
I have just to apply the filters on the logos and the titles and fine print...then I'll upload it. Maybe someone will like it. lol...who knows 1 outta 1000!! hehe

Ouch! That's a good lesson to learn, always work non-destructively so if you do need to change something you can always edit it.
You could always recreate the image?

In almost all cases, it's a good idea to not have effects on top of your text (or logo) layers. If you look at retail covers, studio text and logos are solid colors (or consistently full-color, like the Warner Bros logo). There are professional print reasons for this that custom designers aren't bound by, of course, but it's also visually helpful to differentiate the artwork from the other aspects of the cover.
So, layering would be:
Text and Logos (Top)
Grain
Effects / Adjustments
Artwork Base (Bottom)
If the current amount of grain and the strength of the effect you used on the images are part of a message you're trying to convey about the movie, then go for it, but I'd definitely suggest not applying them to anything but the art itself.

Yes, bunnydojo. Thanks for the tips. You do have a point. I've never seen a cover without crystal clear logos and text.
Ok. I'll just color them in the context that better fits the artwork. I haven'r printed anything yet nor saved the final file.
By the way just out of curiosity. Do you keep the PSD files long after you finished your covers? Do you keep them in case you remember adding or removing something, because perfection doesn't exist(well maybe scarlett johansson but only her) and there's always something that we later say.,..ahh..i wish i did this or didn't do that..

I always keep all of my PSD files, every cover I have made I still have all files somewhere on an old HDD.

I do myself, I have PSD's going back years, not because I really go back to them for the purpose of re-visiting them design wise but I do it just in case there are errors then they can easily be corrected or in some cases, new releases come out and I get requests for the feature/specs to be updated/added, due to that I have found it best to keep them.
I don't much like to update old works, with the exception of a rare few that just bugged me so bad I could not bare looking at them, still by and large though older works just serve as a reminder of what was...

I have every PSD of every cover I've made, except for one that somehow I lost, it was a very early one but I'm still miffed I can't find it cause I did want to convert it to BR a while ago, still might make it a project though and recreate it

I have none...but then again I made what? 2 or 3 covers from nothing? I've done a bunch of Taking from a dvd and shrinking to blu ray(shrinking in commas)
Will start saving them..better to save the PSD than the image, that's for sure
