Even better, just play with the letter spacing to close up some of those holes.
Specifically, try and get the '(Matt' to spill over onto the next line, and tighten up the line beginning 'Despite their differences' so that 'determination' fits on it.

I like the back layout but do agree with JR about the fonts.
I might suggest making the SF are a little smaller which would give the synopsis are a little more breathing room.
I like post 22 with the horses in the background, if they were a bit darker I think they would have some nice impact, and those characters are a big part of TRUE GRIT, it's not all Rooster
But that does become a personal choice to have them or not.
