You guys are doing awesome, this is really turning out superb!

FYI, I am "opening up" the years prior to 1980, with a catch - you can only sign up for a pre-80 year if you are also signed up for a post-80 year. So if you have a favorite old sci-fi movie, you may want to try and jump in and grab that year (sorry, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, and 2001: A Space Odyssey are already spoken for

). But I would like to see this thing go back to 1950 :P , which will mean multiple contributions per artist.

If no one is doing 1980, I would love to get that year as well... the year of one of the best sci-fi flicks ever imo! If it is already taken, it's no biggy as well!
