I appreciate your interest, but please stop asking about what is next (either in the the thread or via PM). Truthfully, I don't know... it depends on resources, retail info, episode titles, etc. I'll upload new stuff as I complete it. Perhaps you could leave a comment on the covers that have already been shared as opposed to focusing on what hasn't been made yet? Thanks!shepard1378 wrote:QUOTE (shepard1378 @ Jun 5 2017, 04:28 PM) what covers are next?![]()
I liked it... didn't love it. Maybe a second viewing will improve my opinion. It's certainly the most focused and competent of the DCEU films (although that's not terribly high praise).M0vieM0nster wrote:QUOTE (M0vieM0nster @ Jun 5 2017, 04:31 PM) How was Wonder Woman Andy? I've not seen it yet but with all the hype I have been kinda expecting a kernie standalone special for it? 🙂
The movie gets the character of Diana/Wonder Woman pretty much spot on, and is a vast improvement over her appearance in BvS. The supporting cast also ranges from good to decent and the action is mostly well-handled. Unfortunately, it also has some long clunky scenes of exposition, a rather weak villain (with a predictable twist), and another CGI-heavy finale.
I'm also very happy to see a female-centric film by a female director getting such a great critical and commercial reception, gives me hope for Captain Marvel, Batgirl, and other classic characters to finally get their due.
As for a standalone version of Wonder Woman... probably not. I'm sort of creatively bankrupt when it comes to standalone covers.
To celebrate the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, I'm revising the old Spider-Man covers starting with the Sam Raimi trilogy.
Yes, The Amazing Spider-Man films will also be revised. I'm working on them at the moment. Then I'll try to put something together for Homecoming.
But before I get to that, a bit of good news to share... my wife and I are expecting our first child in December. We're excited (and terrified) beyond belief and we are busy preparing our home for the new arrival. Which of course, means even less time for cover-making. I don't want to say I'm planning to quit, but I also don't want to pretend that covers will be in any way treated like a priority. They may be something to do to unwind when and if I get a spare minute of free time, but I doubt I'll be contributing the amount of titles that I have in the past. I may scale my workload back to just the new theatrical films and a few of the popular TV shows, but even that might be a bit much to handle. Time will tell, I suppose. If you don't see me around much after December, it will be because I'll be working on my most challenging project yet... being a dad.
Anyway, back to what you came here for...
