yesterday: "Reminiscence" (2021) With Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman. Pretty disappointed. Some great ideas, but too predictable. As if the actors don't believe in the script. I don't know why but maybe it is because i believe so much in this one, because of the trailers, surely... 5/10
and after that, i gave its chance to "Snake Eyes" (2021)... Well... I have loved, at that time the 1st GI Joe. The second one was not so clever but is a very good distraction. And, also, i've put so much hope in this prequel too.... It is well done, stunts, fires and explosions. BUT... So many anachronisms... too much inconsistency with precisely the first opus...
that said, it's good entertainment, and this is the purpose of an action movie. Special mention to Andrew Koji (Tv-series "Warrior"), although better in this one than in "Snake Eyes" 6/10

Squid Game (2021) - I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It is dubbed in English, but if that frustrates you there is the option to have English (or whatever language) subtitles with the original Korean. But that is really the only negative thing I have to say about this program. It has a brilliant story line, likeable (and not so likeable) characters, and a tendency to make you want to watch the next episode straight away. I really hope they make a second season. 9/10

I plan to start it this weekend. My daughter asked me for it too so we should devour this in two evenings.
So the last movie i have watched is "No time to die" (2021).
The firsts bond fans will probably scream... Scandalous, and so on, but....
The famous "but".
Scenario is inventive, Craig is delicious (my expression

), Ana De Armes is.... my god, an angel on earth.
Not a typical Bond movie though... Very different, but in the same vein as skyfall.
A must-see, for me... 9/10

Everywhere you look online it’s all about this. I thought it was only with English subtitles which put me off as I feel like you end up concentrating on the subtitles rather than what’s happening. One of the reasons I never watched Narcos.
If it’s dubbed I may give it a go although I imagine it’s annoying as it will look like the audio is out of sync lol

I don't mind it not being a typical Bond movie, as long as it is entertaining

Watched NO TIME TO DIE on Tuesday and love it.

9/10
An unusual beginning of the film (I didn´t have a "Bond movie" feeling first), but nevertheless interesting.
Some people may critic: "Watch any Bond movie and you have seen them all".
I never thought so, but this time, there are so many differences and surprises, that you can´t speak of another typical 007 repetition.
I agree with ripley, only the SKYFALL comparison doesn´t fit to me.
This dramatic but also funny action thriller resembles more ON HER MAJESTY´S SECRET SERVICE. Maybe (like the 1969 version) it will take time to achieve his true impact.

Wolf Children (2012). I have not watched a lot of Anime, but I like what I have seen. This film explores themes of acceptance, individualism, motherhood, self-discovery, and community. The animation is GORGEOUS. The plot never gets very complicated, but there is never a moment in the film that doesn't make you want to keep watching. 9.5/10
