As you know, I ended up last.
When I saw the other entries, I could immediately see that my case was very different from the other entries. I could also see that there would be a battle for top rankings and that I would not get in the top.
I had otherwise a good feel for my cover! This judgment was a tough one to swallow, I do not think that I am in a competition ended last before! :chin: But there's a first time for everything and as I have said erlier, It’s no shame to loose this one.Exactly what has gone wrong, I hope to clarify when I receive the judges' comments. I must say that I had higher expectations for my cover this time. Regarding to the work I put in it.

No mate, that's the depressing part, I already think it's a pretty good cover, just one thing IMHO needs a little work.
But if I think that and it came 2nd last guess that doesn't say much about what I think is pretty good.

Understand what you're saying, I guess my hopes and expectations were greater than my talent, and by that I mean I felt I had a pretty good chance with what I had done to finish up in the middle, not down the end, it's a tough pill to swallow

I'm a big basketball fan and look forward to the All-Star game every year. In the end, one team wins, and an MVP is named. It's exciting to watch and provides a nice confidence boost to whomever ends up on top, but nobody thinks any less of the players not selected as MVP.

Alternatively: I've finished everywhere from first to last in competitions. Winning feels nice, and losing feels terrible. Either way, the competing itself usually ends up being the most enjoyable part.

I fully agree with Tim. The best part of competition itself and making the cover.
Otherwise I looked at the score cards, and I personally agree with the opinion of the judges, what they wrote to my cover. So I'm happy with the place I finish.

Yeah, the judges comments all made sense, except for one that placed my cover at last place but didn't give any suggestions for improvements at all.

Thanks guys. Don't misunderstand me, I'm in this for the fun, and enjoy very much making cover and trying to improve my skills. I know in every comp, someone end up last. This time it was me
