We're the Millers - 7/10:
Didn't like it as much as some others here I think. The film was nearly perfect and both incredibly funny and entertaining ... until the very end where the whole family gets in a witness protection program. Gosh, that was just plain stupid and outrageous! Couldn't think more of a typical Hollywood Happy End ...
The Naked Gun (Part 2) - 9/10:
As amusing as the first part! Nuff said.
The Naked Gun (Part 3) - 8/10:
Not as good as part 1 & 2, but still a funny comedy flick. Extra points for Anna Nicole Smith :P
White House Down - 6/10:
A bit better than OHF, still mediocre. The film's too long, the story contains a lot of repetitive elements: Tatum and Foxx manage to escape narrowly like 50 times, the villain shouts SH*T and F*CK like 50 times. The amount of action scenes is appropriate contrary to the action-overkiller OHF. In general, WHD is "calmer" than OHF and takes his time. Oh, and I somehow found James Woods perfectly perfidious in his role. Overall surely worth a look.

Olympus Has Fallen
Unbelievable of course but entertaining, Gerard Butler was convincing and played it well, I give it 7/10 cause I did enjoy it
White House Down
Foxx was good, tatum not so much in the action parts, he can hold his own against a guy who spent years in Delta Force and then doing wet work for the CIA, after Tatum had done 3 tours in Middle East, doesn't quite add up but I liked the comedy they threw in which really helped give it a bit of tongue in cheek, over all I give it a 6/10
Thor - The Dark World
Thor has been one of my favourites since I was a little kid and I think Marvel have done a great job with him, and the other movies too, I liked this a lot 8.5/10
The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey
Wasn't sure what to expect, me, my wife and son were going to watch 30 - 60 minutes to see what it was like then the rest later if it was alright, ended up watching the whole thing, was great, really great, loved it 10/10

It's all uphill til you get to the top
The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey 8/10 for me not being a big fan of he lord of the rings franchise to begin with i didn't expect to enjoy this film and it was till about an 1:30 into the film where i really started to enjoy it imo
Carrie (2013) 8/10 i've been stoked for this and eager to see and well it didnt quite live up to what i was hoping for it was still a good film, now i have to go back and watch the original to really compare.

Thought i might open the usual give us the movies you've been seeing lately that are worthy..or non-worthy.
Yesterday i watched Pride, Prejudice and Zombies and a portuguese film called Arabian Nights volume 1.
all can be imdb'd.
My opinions are as such:
Pride is an entertaining piece. It isn't great but it's 1h30min of passabel fun.
Arabian Nights on the other hand, and i still have volume 2 and 3 to watch, is simply stunning. it's been distributed in the US by Kino so you may be able to get a hold of it.
Let the thread begin!!

The Pink Panther (1963) with Peter Sellers, David Niven and Robert Wagner to name a few.
Very subtle awkward humour with classic farce elements. Harmless fun with bright coloured clothes and just a hint of the mayhem to come in the sequels. I'll be watching all the others in the series (again) over the next week or so.
A solid 8/10
