Not sure if you can do anything with it...

Are you finished with the front? There are just a few things I think could be improved:

- I think the lightning from Thor's hammer should go behind the logo.
- It might be too late, but I think you should try to put Fury and Hill where Jane and War Machine are. I don't think Pepper should be there either. Just characters that are big parts of Avengers.

First off... welcome to the site.

As for your changes, you're a bit late to the game and I'm happy with the front cover. The cover is for all films in the Avengers franchise, including all of the solo films, which is why I'm including Jane, War Machine, and Pepper. They're staying... sorry.

As for the lightning, I'll see what works best.

Lastly, are you a designer, Slappy? If so, I hope you'd consider uploading to Hirescovers and becoming more active in the community. You were quickly able to spot a number of things to improve on a cover that I've been working on for weeks, so I'd be interested in seeing your work.

As for the images you've been providing, I don't think they're going to be "high-res" enough. Please read the Site Rules for what constitutes as "high-res." I appreciate your willingness to help, but I'm sorry to say that your images might not fit the proper criteria and might not be of high enough quality to use on the cover.

I'm no designer, but I've dabbled, making fan posters and such. Here's an example:

If you have trouble finding that specific image of Abomination, you could probably complete his body using images of Hulk, they're pretty much the same proportionally.

I'd love to see what your idea for the "SHIELD Control Room" would look like, but this is really looking fine too. One thing you might want to be careful with though is not making the back too similar to the front (you don't want to turn the cover and see the same thing on the back), I'm sure you've already thought about it but it's just something to keep in mind.

Nice work on the Robocop poster! If you're looking for a place to start making covers, posting what you're working on in a WIP thread would be a good way of getting yourself going!

I didn't really have much started, just a cutout of Fury with the SHIELD logo. There really isn't much to see, honestly.

As for the back I have now, I'm really limited by the resources that are currently available for the villains. There's a lot of things I'd absolutely LOVE to do, but don't have the photography for it. Oh, how I wish I had all of the pictures that the Avengers promotional photographer took of each character... that would make life so much easier!!

I hear what you're saying about making it too similar, but the reason I scrapped the SHIELD idea was because I felt it was too different and I wouldn't be able to carry enough elements and styles from the front over to the back. I think they would have been two distinctly different themes/ideas and I couldn't figure out a way to unify the design (especially with the limited resources). I'll do my best to make the villain collage not seem too similar to the hero group, but I kind of like the way the front composition is mirrored on the back by the villains. It's kind of what I'm going for... :P

Hey kernie, joined this site mainly for your stellar artwork and this WIP is nothing short of amazing!
Watching you work through this cover is just so impressive.
One minor suggestion, on the front cover swapping the titles to read iron man-incredible hulk-iron man 2? Since chronologically that's how you'd want to watch these movies.
