The Arkham covers look really amazing, it's a pity I don't own a PS3, XBOX or even the Batman games, I would love to have them in my collection :( perhaps one day.

I'm going to download them anyway, I just like looking at the details

Thanks again and Merry Christmas :D

Already finished the 3 games (Arkham City was imo the best of the 3) and i must say that every Batman fan should play this games! This (so far) trilogy is along with the Uncharted trilogy the best games i've played!

Great set of covers Andrew, thank you for those! And prepare already the layout for the 4th game! Warner studios are already producing the 4th game :)

Like I said in my earlier post, I'm not a gamer at all. The Arkham series is pretty much the only video game I've played since the Nintendo64 era (Mario Kart, Goldeneye, and Zelda were awesome!), but I would definitely agree with you, Arky. I've downloaded a few demos of other games from the PS Store, and none of them seemed to come close to Arkham's story, visuals, gameplay, and overall quality.

As much as I enjoyed Origins, City has been the best so far. I've been replaying the entire series lately, and while Asylum was a solid start, it was merely a taste of what was to come. City's story, scope, and rogues gallery was truly epic. Origins was good, but it just made the city bigger without doing a lot to make it better. The villains were okay but they were clearly the second/third string bad guys (Anarky, Copperhead, Firefly, etc.), but the Batman/Alfred parts of the story were excellent.

I'm looking forward to wherever they go next. You mention they're working on a fourth, and I'm sure you're right... but has that been confirmed? I know there's a lot of rumors that Rocksteady (the developer of Asylum and City, but not Origins) is working on a big game for 2014, but I don't believe they have officially announced that it will be another Arkham game. Just curious if you've heard something that I haven't. There's definitely a lot of dangling threads from City to follow up on, like Hush and Azrael's storylines, as well as the aftermath of City's shocking finale.

I've heard that January will see the release of a story-based DLC for Origins and that it would focus on one of Batman's key relationships. I'm hoping that means a playable Batgirl character, since we've seen teenage pre-Batgirl Barbara in Origins and wheelchair-bound Oracle in Asylum/City. We've already had Robin and Nightwing in City's DLCs, it'd be cool to see Batgirl as she's the only remaining member of the Bat-family not yet featured in the Arkham series.

Sorry for the long post, but man... I love these games! :D :D :D

I’ve been following this youtube channel since the Asylum. They posted a few months ago this:

“According to a report from Kotaku.com, the next game in the Batman Arkham series could be out in 2014. Several job postings matching text of Rocksteady career openings have been found on CGHub.com. These jobs are for an unnamed British developer (Rocksteady studios are based in London) which is working on "an extremely ambitious AAA 3rd Person/Action Adventure Game". The project "has been tipped to be one of the most successful games of 2014".

After the Game of the Year nominee in 2011 for Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady has been very silent about what they are planning to do next. In May 2013, during the Dallas Comic-Con, Batman's voice actor Kevin Conroy accidentally confirmed the existence of a new game in the series by stating that he's been working on the "next Arkham game" for the past "nine or ten months". The detailed descriptions of the job postings found on CGHub.com could suggest that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are planning to release a new Arkham game next year, but of course this is purely speculation.”

I also confirmed that a DLC named “The Initiation Challenge Map Pack” will be (or already is) available this month for Origins and its related with Bruce’s initiation. You can check the trailer here. Not sure if it’s great enough to get now, most probably I’ll do the same I did for City selling my regular edition to buy the GOTY. But despite the fact I only have the regular edition with the Deathstroke challenge pack, I also have this:
