The Comic Book Collection by Kernie
Never heard of The Amazing Screw-on Head, but thanks, Plus I also think that The Dark Knight looks great on the template, so I say go for it Kernie, you've started them now, and if you stop, it's going to bug you on how the other covers might turn out.
:chin:
Keep them coming and have a great Christmas and New Year

I'm most likely going to keep going with the live action stuff, but I'm going to hold off uploading them for a bit.
I want to work out some minor issues that have arisen with the template by doing live action titles (specifically the background colors, TT placement on the spine, etc.). I'd like these to blend fairly seamlessly with the animated titles and right now, there's something about the Dark Knight cover that feels a bit awkward to me. Not sure what it is, but it's not quite where I want it to be before continuing on with a larger collection.
There's also the issue of a few movies having weird poster art (like Batman & Robin's theatrical poster which has the TT in the center) or TT's that change over the course of the series (like X-Men having 4 different styles of TT from movie to movie).
Sorry the Dark Knight cover is a bit of a tease right now, but I think I'll work out the bugs on the Burton/Schumacher/Nolan Bat-films and then move on to other franchises. I will most likely convert all of my Marvel Superhero Series titles to this new template but keep the old ones in their own album in the gallery, as well.
Glad to see there's some interest in these, though!!

I think you shouldn't worry too much about the TTs, the ones on your previous X-Men films are all different and they look great, besides most movies change the TTs so I think it'll be ok.
The Batman & Robin cover might end up looking a bit weird if you place the TT on the center. Maybe you can find a TTless poster and just place it on the top. Or if your really lucky, maybe the great resources people can find this poster for you to use:

Thanks for the preview, felipe-11, maybe I'll go with that one, not sure though. Also, I wasn't planning on moving the TT to the center on my B&R cover, just thought it'd look weird to have an empty hole at the center of the artwork...
Anyway, here's Season 8 of the 1987 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." That wraps up all of the retail releases for now (Season 9 & 10 should be on their way from Lionsgate, though). I'll try to finish up the remaining 2 seasons before getting too involved in other covers...

Thanks for the Turtles cover outstanding as per usual![]()
And a Merry Christmas
Yeah, the Batman's in particular have a different color scheme and style for each film, so it will be a bit tricky, though certainly not impossible. I'm up to the challenge!! I'm still working out some of the issues but I'm fairly confident I'll be able to pull something off and have some of the first of the live action films up soon... I'm actually more anxious to get to some titles that don't have animated counterparts, like V for Vendetta, Watchmen, etc. I think I can do some cool stuff with them and they feel like uncharted territory (as opposed to the 20+ Batman-related animated titles I've already done covers for).
See what you did, Darksaber... you got me thinking about live action and now I'll be knee-deep in these covers for the rest of eternity!!![]()

When live action was suggested I didn't mean for you to use this template, but now you've started.....
The Dark Knight looks really good with this template, can't wait to see the rest, plus I totally forgot about V for Vendetta, and Watchman, so they'll be a bonus.
Oh dear different titles are running though my head now of how many there are to do, I'm afraid it might be an eternity, trust me to open my big mouth
Better not mention Disney
I'm only joking, don't take that literally

Yeah, I just figured that there was nothing about this template that was strictly for "animated" programs and the CGI TMNT got me thinking that more realistic stuff might look pretty cool. Rather than making a new template, I decided I'd just stick with this one since it has been so flexible with all the different titles I've done so far. Then I'm sure to reach 200 titles easily!!
It's overwhelming to be sure, but I'm resolved to just do it when I have the time and not try to push them out so quickly or to appease requests. It's also breathed a bit of new life into this 10-month-old template, so I'm excited about all the new possibilities (including Iron Man 2 and other upcoming stuff).
Should be fun, all I ask is for patience on the part of the members (which I'm sure everybody knows by now how I freak out easily with large request lists
), I'm going to try to get to everything in addition to going back and getting to those earlier Marvel animated titles from the 60's through the 80's. So, here's to more stuff in 2010!!
