I think this could definitely work but I think the green needs something overlayed on it like the first one has clouds in the distance, maybe try and bring through some of the rocks behind the people?

What about using the same background as for Scorch Trials but changing the color to greenish?

Here's an idea. Basically using the same poster you are already using too.
Maybe take the maze part, and just run a simple overlay, below the shadows.
Something like this maybe??
