Looks good JR - perspective on the scrolls is a little out though (but you know that).

Woa - A Blast from the Past! How's teaching these days Skally?

I'll work some more on the banners, I know they look odd. I'm gonna do some on another piece of paper to avoid messing with the TT itself. Time for that later on! :D

Are you drawing with a pencil and scanning the result? :) Looks great!

Yes I am - see below ;)

just a snapshot of my desk - earlier versions of the TT can be seen above the current one.

Okay, so I have a question for those of you that 'speak Adobe Illustrator' -

If you compare the below to the previews already shown, you'll notice that this new preview ain't in 3D yet. So, will I need to draw the 3D effect before opening the drawing in Ai - or can I get Illustrator to do that for me?

(0h, and it's very light to the other previews, but that's coz I didn't do a levels adjustment).

Illustrator's 3D capability is frankly very limited and has always given me a certain level of difficulty and frustration. It would be easier to create the 3D effect manually if you want it to be done right.

I know you have a lot of questions about AI, so my best recommendation would be to look for online tutorials and start hacking away at it. I'll help you as best as I can, but like I said in my PM, I'm extremely busy and I don't want my availability to slow down your work on this project.

Best of luck! :D :D :D

No, colors ain't final ;)

Still learning my way through Ai with this... Some small flashes of 'Aaaahh!!!' and Oooooh!!'s do occur. Perhaps this Ai ain't such a monster I thought it was! :D :D
