I'm not a fan of the font used, i think you should try gotham or something similar.
I also think you should remove the spine image. Why don't you rebuild the retail spine (assuming you'll do the same for the back like you did on your recent work)?

I tried a bunch of sans serif typefaces (Helvetica, Akzidenz-Grotesk, Gotham, Gill Sans etc.) but they weren't working for me. So I tried a couple of different serif typefaces and finally settled on Baskerville, which I think works quite well.

Not good. I tried that, and a tagline, down there but it just ruined the simplicity of the front. In fact, I'd rather drop it all together, than have it at the bottom.

This can be closed as I've basically finished the cover, just need to adress a few minor issues. Should be uploaded today, or tomorrow. Or the day after that. Definitely this week.
