great idea... Im in... already got the cover picked

Now if only I could find a Cinema 4D for dummies i'd be set....

Before this gets going Bazzah you should really tell us what cover we should do, it's highly unfair on everyone to say do what youl ike. All the successful competitions I have seen have run in the way that the top guy has specified a film, covers have gone in and the judges have decided.

At least if we are all doing the same cover its not so bias.

The fact that you can only use certani sized images is going to make it difficult. Also, the fact that there must not be a custom already makes it VERY difficult. You find a cover that isnt in the gallery, that has got a lot of material available. I think you will be surprised how tough the competition will be.

The judging won't be done according to what the movie is anyway. The judging will be about the skill and imagination that is used.

I think the way you have it now is more than fair. It will be hard enough to find source materials, especially if you can't use one that already has a gallery custom done. Sounds like fun to me!

bugger had a great idea for a cover,until i realised that you said it cant have a custom cover in the galley already.might still make it anyway...for fun.

on that point,this rule should only apply to cutoms uploaded previous to today,it would be horrendous to work on a cover,then in a couple of weeks when your about to upload it ,someone posts one in the gallery,disqualifying your hard work.

i'll have a go,(but dont expect to win next to some of the great artists on here )

No too sure on the fact that there mustn't be a custom already out there, knowing my luck someone will post the same movie just before i do.

If anyone posts a custom between now and the end of the competition, it will not matter. You may still post your entry.

This competition will be fun

But im out :/ Or.....I never was in..hm.

Anyway, I got my ass kicked at the earlier competition ( The Wedding Crashers ). I can judge! That would be fun. I Judge when you guys did these WWII covers. I cant really writte what I want here : ( My english sucks :'( poor me.
