Great idea to mimic the actual paperbacks.

As for the bar codes, I'm not a big fan either. However on covers that are designed to look like comics or magazines (and now paperbacks), I feel they would seem incomplete without them.

As you are looking to have your covers resemble the paperbacks and from knowing your work, I know your high commitment to details. So I am adding a very low res pic (the only one I could find) showing the placement of the bar codes on the paperbacks. I believe you would want to place yours in the same place.

Thanks for the help searching for the paperback back covers!

Batboy - now that I see the back covers, I admit that they are too plain for what I'm doing. Also, since part of it is an image that spans the entire front-to-back of the cover, I don't think it will work with the frame that I've established. I'm working on my own original back design for these.

Arkflip - those covers you found are awesome! I love the old Penguin-style covers for the Potter films!

Tom17 - I'll see if I can find an alternate version of the front artwork that says Philosopher's Stone. At the moment, the "Sorcerer's Stone" text on the front cover is embedded in the rest of the image and I might not be able to remove it and replace it with the word "Philosopher's." I'll see what I can do, but I have a feeling you might have to settle for the "Sorcerer's" version... :(

I'll post an update in a little bit, I'm still working out the Special Features box... :D

Found this on the UK google site. It is the Philosopher's Stone cover in the similar style of the the Sorcerer's Stone. Probably not high res enough.

Below is the site is where I found it
