I kinda prefer the paper thingy as an overall look.

Along the lines of my Gillian Jacobs "extra fabric" comment, do you have anything that could go over Joel McHale's side (around where the Adidas logo is)? The angle of the pose makes his lower half look really wide, like he's wearing a petticoat. :D Or maybe just cut some of it off? Like:

(Minus all the extra white, of course. :) )

Thanks everyone for helping to solve the paper fortune teller debate! I've decided to keep it. I figure that most people who will want the cover have seen the show and will recognize the fortune teller from the opening credits, plus I think it adds to the feeling that the characters are "popping out" of something.

Also, thanks for taking the time to point out some of the finer issues, Bunny Dojo! I've fixed McHale's wide hip and Jacobs' protruding vest, added some more scribbles around the TT, and made some 3D paper airplanes to fly out from the image as well.

Thoughts?! :D :D :D

I think the scribbles crowd the covet too much...
Other than that the airplanes look great!!

P.S. Please release this cover next month so I have a shot at COTM lol jk

Don't worry about that... this cover won't win COTM, it's not a popular enough title. The only times I've won were with covers for the "it" movies of the month. :( :(

Anyone else want to weigh in on the scribbles... too much? I've never been one for subtlety or cleanliness, so I like them...

I think it looks fine the way it is. Leave the scribbles on there :)

Hey kernie, don't bash lesser known titles... My Splice cover surprisingly beat out voet's Prince of Persia cover... and we all know the more popular title there... And I was as sure as your are now that the more popular titles usually win challenges.

So i say anything can happen!

I don't mind you kept the paper thing in; seeing the cover with both didn't make me love the other one any way, so it looks great as it is...

Great additions also...

I do notice that you had corrected the issue that Bunny brought up with his leg, but I still see the Adidas logo on your last preview, so it might still be there.

Looking forward to the back!

Thanks for the encouragement, bpm! Although I'd argue that Splice is the more popular title over Prince of Persia (at least in film geek circles). And besides, your Splice cover had a great layout with stunning color, it definitely deserved the win.

Glad to hear you've come around to the paper thing. Sometimes seeing an artwork without a certain element is enough to prove why it should be there! :D :D

I don't think Bunny's comment suggested removing the Adidas logo, just trimming the area around it, but the more I think about it, it is odd that the logo is visible. I'll paint it out.

Time to start on the back...
