top class... about what arky said about the blue, there is something that is bugging me about the background blue, and the front a features blue. Maybe desaturate the front image background blue?

I like the new spines Daniel, but not sure why the Cinderella image don't have the same old look like the others. Being picky, i know, but only wanna have the best bluray cover for this title and the best bluray disney set

about the blue. The idea of this collection is to use original artwork as close to it's original state. If I am to follow that rule my color selection control is limited. These posters are obviously scanned material, so I have given myself a little freedom with compensating color correction. both of the posters I had for this movie were quite bright and vibrant and I fear if I tone that down anymore I have crossed the boundaries for what could be considered just compensation.
the answer to your question arky is quite simple. Snow White and Pinocchio were released in 1937 & 1940 Sleeping Beauty (which I assume is the one you are referring to) was released in 1959 and it was released as 70mm, so it's supposed to look newer.

Is the title treatment on the spine of Pinocchio and the front of it deliberatly different colours? I would think the green on the spine too would look better? Other than that it's a superb idea and they look really cool =)

Love what you've done so far with these covers, ubl!
Totally understand your point about the spine colors and I say stick with that concept of keeping the original poster designs. It might look weird to some people right now, but I think when you start to get all the movies in there, it'll be really sweet to see the progression of Disney posters over the decades. Bravo for defending your design choices!
Really great idea, makes me almost want to buy all the blu-ray's now...

Thanks for the answer Daniel and yes, was talking about Sleeping Beauty (not sure why i said Cinderella lol)
Already owns the 3 bluray movies, so now we just need to wait for the next release that will be, according to Disney, Fantasia!
Btw, can someone explain me why were Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty released as Platinum Edition and Snow White as Diamond and Platinum? I read a few days a non-official Disney blog and they were saying that the next two titles (Fantasia and The Beauty and The Best) will also be Diamond.

I wish I understood half the decisions that the Disney Corporation makes...
Like dropping 2D animation in favor of 3D (glad they rethought that one), or stopping DVD releases for Ducktales, Gargoyles and other shows that only need another set or two to complete the series, or making sequels to movies that clearly end with "they lived happily ever after," or buying Marvel (still unsure what I think of that one), or giving Emilio Estevez top billing for a cameo in Mighty Ducks 3...
Although I do have high hopes for the company's future now that Lasseter and the Pixar crew have more input. Here's hoping for new 2D animated films that are worthy to stand along some of the titles ubl is making blu covers for! (Haven't seen Princess and the Frog trailer yet so I have no idea whether it will be good or not)

I'm sure I'm not getting it. Why tone down the virbance of colors for such beautiful works, yes they're old, but surely the blue Ray versions haven't been toned down. Oh, well like I said I'm missin the point, nothing unusual there, tis and don't forget great work!
