I might have been offensive mate, but it brought them out of the woodwork, like the worms they are, it just shows there true colours

you know they even removed the poxy 12 credits I had there, how petty is that, they're pathetic :bootyshake:

EDIT: And now I've been banned "the connection has timed out" :yikes: shock, horror pmsl looks like proxy server time :)

Yea, they really need to get lives...

I noticed in the last few days a lot coming from Fuzion... and if there was only a way to figure this out!

I'm sure they are using proxy servers to get them!

Most recently I've seen a lot of MHD's work over there... He is new to fuzion so all his recent uploads there are heading straight to R1!

Along with the work of a handfull of designers only at fuzion!

Those frickin idiots! They can't even do the crediting right!

Just had a look over there and saw my Social Network cover and it was credited to Barfly.

I know that Barfly made a swedish cover for this title that was inspired by my cover, and he kindly asked me for permission for that. But it's still stupid that they mix that up as the covers differ quite a lot from each other and my name is in the legal area. Let alone that it shouldn't be uploaded there in the first place :cussing:

It's a cinch I never have to worry about uploading there as most of my covers make it on that site before I even have a chance to check it out :(

a proxy server is where you connect you the internet using a server in a different part of the world, it gives you a false IP address

Ya know what? SCREW IT!!! I'm opening up my galleries again!

I can't stop this cover theft crap, R1DB's probably lost a lot of whatever credibility they had through this ordeal, and it's unfair to all of our good, honest members here at Hirescovers that want to enjoy my covers but can't because of some d-bags trying to improve their own site's traffic!

And also... I just want to make covers and grow my comic book movie collection! If the thieves want to download and repost all 1663 (and counting) things in my gallery, then let them spend the next few weeks of their worthless lives doing it!! I'll just make more and more so that they never get a break!!

Thanks to all the members who've PM'd and shown their support over the last week. I never really realized how many people actually paid attention to and enjoyed my artwork until now! It's helped me to understand the impact that these covers can have for some people, especially those who said that their kids enjoy having my covers on their favorite superhero movies. No offense to the adults who like my stuff, but if my stuff inspires a kid to pursue art, film, or graphic design, well then... that's a pretty cool thing right there.

So, Fubster... this doesn't mean you should stop working on that awesome, magical new system you've been plugging away on, but I'm not going to let R1DB's thieves ruin the fun we have here at Hires!!

My apologies to all those who couldn't find my covers this past week and for being a bit of negative nancy over this whole situation. But I do think that it was for the best during the recent wave of cover stealing.

Thanks Kernie. I hope I had some small part in expressing how beautiful your covers are. With all this I was concerned that I could not add any more matching covers to your outstanding comic collection. As I mentioned before, I love your Scooby-Doo collection as well. Hopefully others will see my post and urge you to continue this set also.

You have an interesting way of looking at this situation and should be commended. THANK YOU.

Good for you Kernie, don't let the R1DB VERMIN bring you down.

It would been a real shame if you were to give up.

I totally agree with Snips comments and I'll add that I hope to continue downloading your artwork for a while longer a least :)

I just hope that people will realise what sort of a site R1DB is and I ask, no URGE them to stop using that site and supporting the thieves that thrive there, eventually the site WILL crash and burn.
