To play devil's advocat for a minute, this is season 1, early on, look at Ricks uniform, very clean, and still not even torn up yet, same with Glenn, young, innocent, at this time the apocalypse has not been going all that long, granted Rick rode in a horse as he ran out of fuel, but there was fuel around as the group had vehicles and used them, Rick could have found that police car on the street abandoned with a tank of gas and used it, he might not have realised just yet that the lights and sirens would attract the zombies, you know just saying

Personally I like the clean touch v is using here I think it symbolises season 1 pretty good, the next few covers will be more down and dirty I'm sure, there is hope on this cover, as there was in season 1, to start with

Slight update. Redid the trash can and Glen - gave him legs which i have to move up a bit and finish off. added more buildings in the background and removed the damage on the building and the police car lights. Altered Daryll's shadow.

So I stare for this image and the two main characters seem slightly float in the air. It seems to me that the shadows just off the feet are very blurry, and that's why. Can do them like the at right character?

What i see as the floating prob is because the guy on the lefts right leg (left of the cover) is in shadow but the ground he walks upon isnt as shadowed as his leg, shouldnt the shadow be going behind him?, sorry, gut distracted by the russian brides, gonna have to buy a couple of them

Lol. Yup will play around with it again.

Done quite a bit more.. should i use full blown color or is this ok... If i spend much more time on this it's going in the bin.

Shadows look better now, only lying characters should be smaller and darker. I'm sorry, I can not translate well ...

Head the guy with a crossbow more I liked the previous one.
