One thing that immediately catches my eye - and it may only be the processing of the preview - is the hard edge on the heads of the cut-outs on the back. Bale is ok, but the other three look like they may need more work on the edges of the hair.

Any chance of a close-up of that particular section?

Yes, the hair and edges of the back characters need a bit of clean-up. Any chance someone has a hair brush to help with this? The only brushes I have at the moment are for long, windy female hair.

You could draw your own hair strands. I have yet to experiment with it myself, but if you select a brush about 2-3 px wide, go to the brush panel, go to shape dynamics, and change control for "pen pressure" to "fade". I imagine it's pretty time consuming, but if you vary hair strand color slightly, it should look pretty neat. :)

Yeah, that sounds like a lot of time for such a small detail. There's got to be a faster way...

Try searching "hair strands" at deviant art. :D

Here's a good one I have used before:

I really really love this cover, Kernie!

Only comment I have is that I miss John Blake somewhere on the cover :) his role in TDKR was too big to leave him out ;)
