Have you guys seen The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer? It's officially online now, looks awesome!

Also, not SPOIL anything but, theres a teaser for The Avengers attached to the Captain America credits this Friday. You can see a bootleg online though I wish I waited till Friday, it's freaking awesome!

Saw the Dark Knight Rises teaser the other day before HP8, and was a bit underwhelmed... it looks cool, but I hate the way Nolan & Co. tease us with their trailers.

As for Avengers... oh yeah... can't wait to see that one in HD Quicktime!!

FYI: I updated my Thor (both versions) and X-Men: First Class covers with proper Special Features and retail specs. They should be available in the gallery now.

And in case you may not have heard...

X-Men: First Class arrives on Region 1/A Blu-ray and DVD on September 9 (oddly on a Friday?).

Thor is coming to Region 1/A Blu-ray, DVD, and limited edition 3D/Blu-ray/DVD on September 13.

Should be a fun week in September for Marvel film fans!! :D :D :D

Sweet, I wasn't expecting releases so soon!

I'm surprised the X-Men packaging isn't worse but its still pretty sucky, I hope they get rid of the characters on the "X"...

I actually like the X-Men packaging, although the characters on the "X" are poorly arranged and I don't like the idea of (reportedly) having to choose an Xavier/Magneto package (should be a front/back deal as opposed to separate covers).

I think the Thor artwork is far less interesting than the X-Men: First Class cover, but I'm used to underwhelming retail art, so I'm not too stressed about it. :D

I think it is a front/back thing, if you look at the Magneto cover the spine is on the right side instead of the left like the Xavier one, so I'm guessing it's a back shot.

I was thinking the same thing, but if you follow the link I posted to DVDActive.com and scroll down to the comments below the article, the editor of the site says that the Press Release states, "For the first time ever, “X-Men” fans will have the power to choose a side between Professor X and Magneto with two versions of premium collectible Blu-ray packaging."

I'm so glad Fox is giving us the "power" to choose ( :( ), rather than just giving us a front/back scenario.

Maybe I'm wrong, as the package art previews seem to suggest that Xavier is on the front, Magneto is on the back, but the Press Release quote is pretty cut-and-dry (plus, it's written in typical marketing-speak as though Fox is doing us a favor by releasing the same movie with "collectible" variant covers). Smells like Fox is hoping fans will double-dip just to have both covers (even though nothing changes on the discs themselves).

Lame...
