X-Men (pardon the pun) looks First Class mate well done, it's had some really good reviews, can't wait to see it
Turtles, glad to see another instalment in your turtles collection only one more season to do for this, hope lionsgate get their finger out and release season 10 also
Barbwire and The Crow also look great, always liked the actual barb wire effect on this covers
Just have to wait for the powers that be and add them to the gallery
Thanks again Kernie, wonderful to see your still tinkering with the collection
Oh did you see over at Customaniacs that a few more Captain America posters are on there

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm leaving to see
X-Men: First Class in about an hour, but before I go, here's another small update...
I made a variant cover for
Thor, using the sweet poster that was unveiled closer to the film's release. I actually kind of prefer this new version, but both the new and the old will be available in the gallery.
Thor (v.2):

Also, I finally finished off the
Superboy TV series with a cover for Season 4. I was actually surprised at how much interest the S2 and S3 covers received, so I tried to bump this final season up on my list and find suitable imagery for the keyart as soon as I could.

I hope everyone enjoys the new stuff, I'm glad to finally have some time to get back to my hobbies.
Current Comic Book Collection Count: 308 DVD's, 121 Blu-rays!!

Excellent work Andrew I must admit the new Thor cover looks a lot better, and I'm over the moon that you have finished the Superboy covers
Thanks again
Just a quick question have any of the new covers and labels been uploaded to the gallery? A while ago I saw 3 labels for superboy, but once I refreshed they disappeared
I was having a problem with cache this morning using firefox, but I've also tried IE and chrome, but no show on the new covers or labels, is it just me that can't see them in the gallery?

Great aditions Andrew! The Thor cover looks amazing, way better than the first one IMO, and the X-Men one looks awesome too. I'm glad you didn't use the awful oficial title treatment for it, that looks way better!
@Darksaber I can't seem to find the new covers either

Sorry guys, I would have thought they would have been approved for the gallery sooner. Without giving away too much sensitive information,
a certain moderator needs to approve all of my new uploads as part of a theft protection system.
I apologize for the tease, they should be approved within a day or so, but I don't want to rush the person doing the "approvals."
On a different topic, I just returned from
"X-Men: First Class" and thought it was damn well done. Not quite "X2" good and not without its fair share of flaws, but better than all the other films in the franchise. It took it's time with the characters and the story and I thought Xavier, Magneto, Shaw, Frost, and Banshee were the stars of the show (although Havok was pretty cool, despite a huge age gap between him and his brother Cyclops). Beast was cool in human form, but the makeup on both Beast and Mystique was pretty weak (oh and Beast should have quoted more literature and talked more like Kelsey Grammar from X3 - IMO, Beast was one of the few highlights of X3). Yes, there are plot-holes and inconsistencies with the other films in the series (and trust me, there's a surprise cameo that undoubtedly confirms that this is a prequel to the other films and not a separate reboot) and even greater lapses of logic at times, but I was entertained. It made better use of the X-universe than
X1, didn't kill off characters for no reason and butcher the Phoenix saga like
X3, and it wasn't the major clusterf*** that was
Wolverine. Overall, a solid but imperfect film that was an entertaining addition to the franchise, and will hopefully convince Hollywood that you don't need Wolverine as the star to make a good X-Men movie.
Rant over... thanks for listening.

Thanks Kernie, at least it's not due to my problems this morning
Well are you going to tell us what X-Men: First Class was like then??? Is it better than X-Men 2???
Don't give too much away though
Oh you edited your post
I always thought that they focused too much on Wolverine, don't get me wrong I like the character, but the X universe consists plenty of other characters, though I haven't seen First Class yet only previews it's nice to see that a story focuses on Xavier and Magneto basically the founders of the X-Men, which should have happened with the first one more.
I'm looking forward to see the film, but I'll reserve proper judgement until then
Thanks for the review though

Glad you liked it kernie! I totally agree about Mystique's and Beast's makeup (especially Mystique). Her hairline for some reason started WAY too back for any normal human (or in this case mutant) and the "scales" or whatever you call them looked a lot cheaper the ones on the original Mystique. To put in simpler words, the Mystique from the original trilogy was hot and this one looked kinda gross
The Beast could've been done beter (with some
Avatar technology please), he doesn't even move his mouth correctly when he talks.
Without spoiling too much, there's two really cool cameos, one of them probably my favorite cameo I've seen in any superhero movie so far
Everything else I have no complaints and can't wait for a sequel!

Got on to dl your XO Wolverine blu ray cover, bought it on blu for 7.99 to get the movie cash to see X-Men First Class, sounds like a winner. Really like the First Class cover and the Thor cover. Is there a way to tell when you update the specs to retail? I know it's far off for most movies, I was just curious. Top notch covers as always! (The Crow City of Angels and no original Crow on blu, why would the movie company do that, rights?)
