Where did you hear that Avengers Season 2 is starting soon? I don't even think all of Season 1 has aired in the States yet (the last episode of S1 is apparently set to air at the end of June). This is why I loathe Marvel's animated properties, they air in every other country of the world before airing in the country that created the comics and characters.

Well I've already seen all 26 episodes of Avengers and I swore I saw a post on marvels facebook page about season 2 starting up but i could be wrong now that I'm looking, lol. I know the show has finished airing in the UK or something like that. I watch my Episodes online.

Canada already got season 1, part 1 for sale. Thanks for the cover by the way they're comes in a crappy cardboard case.

Hi,
First I wanted to thank you for your amazing collection of covers, I found some gems for some unexpected movies such as the first CAptain America or even the notorious Fantastic Four Corman's production. I was wondering if your were familiar with "Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt ", and if so, if you were ever planning on making a cover for it ?
Cheers .

Drelin, I've heard of it, but I've never actually seen it. Given the fact that it was more of a "reunion movie" for the TV show, I'm not sure it totally fits the "comic book" criteria for my collection. But, since the show was based on a comic, I'm not sure yet.

I'll do a quick search for hi-res resources (doubtful I'll find much) and if I can easily find stuff, I'll consider making a cover for it at some point.

Also, just a friendly FYI, I generally don't prefer requests for this collection. It often comes off as ungrateful to ask for something that's missing from such a large (and tiresome) collection. I'll do my best to accommodate your inquiry, but please don't let it become a habit to ask for things I haven't done yet. I'm currently swamped with real work and probably won't have time for covers for at least another month. I hope that's understandable. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm sorry if this came out wrong, I was in no way trying to be pushy or whatever. The work you've done is amazing as it is. It wasn't meant to sound like a request, I just thought that if anyone should be familiar with this movie, it would be you, given the incredible amount of comics based covers you dedicated your time to. If you ever do a cover for it someday then great, if not I'll be just as happy with my original cover :)
Keep up the good work ;)

Have you guys seen the new surfaced picture of Tom Hardy as Bane?

I'll post a link so I don't spoil anything for anyone, but it's pretty awesome!

Thanks, felipe-11! I saw it a few days ago and think it's pretty sweet... for what we are able to tell from that photo.

I like the viral marketing that Warner Bros. uses for these films. This Bane pic reminds me of how they unveiled that very first close-up image of the Joker for "The Dark Knight."

I just hope the film doesn't collapse under the weight of all the characters (there seems to be a huge cast for this thing) or the impossible expectations of rabid fanboys.

After the grueling months of April and May in which I had scarce moments of "time to myself," I was finally able to find the time to add a few new additions to this collection.

First and foremost, "X-Men: First Class," which opened this weekend. I plan to see it tomorrow, and from the reviews I've seen, it seems to have set the franchise back on track. Anyway, DVD and Blu-ray covers should be available in the gallery soon.

I was also able to put together a cover for season 9 of the 1987 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which Lionsgate is finally releasing later this summer.

And finally, as I wandered my local Best Buy yesterday, I spotted two older films that recently got the Blu-ray treatment: "Barb Wire" and "The Crow: City of Angels," so I did Blu-ray conversions of my previous DVD covers for each film.

Below are the new additions:

X-Men: First Class

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987): Season 9

Barb Wire (Blu-ray)

The Crow: City of Angels (Blu-ray)

Enjoy!! :D :D :D

Current Comic Book Collection Count: 307 DVD's, 121 Blu-rays!!
