its a good idea, but makes me feel nagged. im not a big commenter. if i really like a cover i'll comment and i look at a lot of full size covers wthout downloading them.
yes i know i should comment more, but an option to turn it off would be good
also will it keep nagging me once i am considered to be an excellent leaver of comments? ie is there a cut-off point when it will stop asking me?

A very good idea. However, it doesn't seem to be working correctly. At least for me I can't close the comment box without being required to enter a comment in order to navigate to the full size image. I can click on the "close" icon and the comment box is gone, but click on the image to get it full size and the comment box returns and I can't go any farther than that.
Instructions state the box will NOT interfere with navigation and that a comment isn't required so there seems to be a problem somewhere. Am I wrong in my understanding of this comment box and how it works? Have others had same issue?
Would appriciate a response. Thanks, joeyd

joeyd,
I'm not sure I understand...where are you trying to go next that you are unable to go? After downloading the full image, I assume that any member would be clicking on one of the thumbnails below the image, clicking on a menu option, a button bar, any of the navigation items that are on the screen are still available. Are you saying that you cannot, for instance, click on "search" when the comment box is showing?

joeyd,
Another question, it sounds as if you are saying that the comment box is over the preview image from the very start. Is that the case? For me when I first hit the preview page, the box is hidden. It does not show until after I ask for the full image. If it is showing right away for you, please tell me the browser and version you are using.
Thanks!

fubster....as you say the comment box appears after clicking on a preview image. Its that I can't get the full size image to appear for downloading without being forced to leave a comment first when instructions state that a comment is optional.

OK, I'm on a preview page. I click on the preview image, and a new window appears with that fullsize image. From that window, I save the image to my HDD, then I click on that full size image to close the window (or I click on the x). And now I am back at the preview page and the comment box is there. But I don't want to leave a comment, so I click on search, and find my next item.
Please explain to me where in those steps something different happens for you.

I'll bet it breaks down at "...and a new window appears with that fullsize image". For some browsers this window was appearing, but the comment box display was causing the preview page to become "active" again. The full size image was always there for you, you just needed to do an alt-tab to find it

.
But, to save that, I have reversed the order of the steps. Now you should see it the way I was seeing it. The comment box will be there AFTER you look at (and save if you want) the full size image.
Please let me know if my latest change does not make that happen for you.

fubster...THANKS, that did the trick. Now when I click on a preview the comment box appears and then a new window quickly opens with the full size image to download if wanted. I can then close the full size window and the comment box is there to use or close as desired.
The comment box is a nice feature and yes I will leave more comments for all the great designers/artists who contribute their talents.
Your response and solution is much appriciated. joeyd
