Improved update. The spine looks better. The Blu-ray logo there would be more visible in a darker color.
Sorry, I personally don't like the green picture frame, because it doesn't match with the rest of the cover.
I´m still a fan of the cable idea, sorry, and you could use such additional lines for the back. They can also be used as a picture frame, for Example.

I agree about the green frame. I don't think it fits the cover. If you are going to keep the frames in this style, I would pick a colour from the rest of the cover

You could also try to reduce the size of "The", put it above the "Discovery" and center it again. So the title doesn't cover hie mouth anymore.
I'd also add some contrast to get some more depth into the front image.
For better readability you could try to go without a texture behind the legals. And depending on the final look of your back I'd try a a shorter quote and increase it's size to give it a more prominent look.

I'll work on that tonight then.
Thanx a million times my friends, for your time and your advices.
It is really fun to read and imagine what it could be in this title.

Great update! Tighten the credits a bit more, taller letters, as suggested by Fidi. Spine looks much better without the prominent cables- and I have to agree with Bzzz on the green frame. Overall color tone of the cover is muted - use that on the stills frame
Beware the light behind the synopsis; looks hard to read.
