That's true, so if you want, you can start right away, but submitting won't be active until the 1st of July. Also, I have now uploaded a lot of resources so hopefully some of them will be of good use

For all those considering entering, please note how your entry will be judged.
Originality
How unique is the cover? Is the design original, or has it used elements that have previously been used on cover or poster art?
Quality
How good are the images used, or if low quality images how well they have been 'fixed'. Are the logos and texts high quality? How is the quality of cloning and/or masking and are colours consistent?
Skill
How high is the level of skills shown in the design to get the end result? Is it custom art or copy and paste background/poster art? Have filters been used to get the end result (such as Topaz) or has it been made using standard Photoshop tools?
Effort
How much effort has been put into the cover overall? Does it look like they really want to win the competition? Have they added those extra little details to make the cover a little more special?
