I’ll give it whirl, thanks.stampe wrote:QUOTE (stampe @ Apr 15 2025, 09:24 PM) great progress!
the space ships on the front could use some separation. what i mean is, that the x-wing is HUGE compared to the imperial cruiser since they are both
equally visible. the big ship should be further away and could use a haze layer to get some depth to the background. id even do that to the planets as
well because now it looks like they are all the same distance away. hope this makes sense![]()
Note of interest; it is not an Imperial star cruiser, since there is no Empire at this stage. It is instead a Republic Venetor class cruiser. The empire is declared in the third movie, after Palpatine initiates ‘order 66’ and makes the clone army attack and kill the Jedi (most of them anyway).

Perfect!!JollyRoger wrote:QUOTE (JollyRoger @ Apr 14 2025, 02:36 PM) Ok, so
- Took away Padmé, and gave Obi-Wan a new shoulder and some of the arm.
- Added Count Dooku.
- Added a squadron of X-Wings and whatever the other space ship is called.
This back scene works better IMO (even if Anakin is holding his lightsaber in the left hand. Looked off balanced, if I kept his pose as it was).
Currently tracking down something that will work better on the front. More to follow.

Update:
Front
- Blurred the Venator slightly and made it smaller and moved it n front of the moon to give the illusion of distance.
- Rebuilt the space ship scene, by adding Jango Fetts ship, and having the Xwings chase him
Back
- Added Jango Fett
- Fixed the larger spacecraft, brightness/contrast/color balance
How's this then?

do you like it? if you like it, thats all that really mattersJollyRoger wrote:QUOTE (JollyRoger @ Apr 16 2025, 08:15 AM) - Blurred the Venator slightly and made it smaller and moved it n front of the moon to give the illusion of distance.
i was more thinking along the lines of this:

thats just a clipping layer over the venetor, all white and the opacity reduced to 15% or so.
you can also reduce the opacity of the ship itself slighty, as long as you dont have background shining through lol
thats great! i think you found the right characters and placement on both front and backJollyRoger wrote:QUOTE (JollyRoger @ Apr 16 2025, 08:15 AM) - Added Jango Fett
