I'm not 100% sure if it's something I did or he just has a pretty strong tan -- I've lightened his face a little bit in the update below. After I've got another photo of him on the back for comparison, that might help in fine tuning things further. :)
Fidi wrote:QUOTE (Fidi @ Feb 23 2023, 01:25 PM) What about a slight inner shadow for the title? Not around every border but maybe something at the bottom of the letters?
Sounds good, I'll try some effects on the title next update. :)
Fidi wrote:QUOTE (Fidi @ Feb 23 2023, 01:25 PM) shoudln't the yellow car on the left be moved down a bit? The front tires should nearly be on one horizontal line, shouldn't they?
If I remember the scene, we're on the side of a hill here, so in front of the cars is a concrete safety barrier maybe 2'-3' tall. It does look a little weird... I'll try seeing if adding texture to the concrete barrier helps.

There's still more work needed on the cars, but this is starting to look somewhat convincing. :)

Great work!!
A few thoughts:
- add contrast overall
- maybe blue TT and small TT so the "H" is easier to read over a clearer bg during a squint test for clarity?
- what about a tagline that helps us lead our eyes quicker to the gun at the bottom of frame?
- I think the bg bright sky spot should be screen left rather than screen right? But also if it looks cooler here, leave it :)
- try a slight defocus on the background? I may make the image a little more dynamic?

I took a quick break from the front to try building a back. Started with this:

But the screen captures weren't too exciting and the layout felt heavy, so I switched to something breezier:

The back images just need a little bit more finish, and I'll try some overall adjustments along the lines of Paris' suggestions to see if the design can look a bit more dynamic rather than just simple photos. (And I'll also try some more on the title treatment.)

Thanks for all of the comments so far.

I like breezier, breezier is good :)

Nice work on this Tim, love all aspects of it :D

Only one little suggestion, maybe try the light gold from the car on the front for the features box rather than the white?

Nice spot Curt, and I agree. Maybe even add it on the quote as well? Looking great or should I say breezie :)

They both look good, but I personally am swayed slightly to the first. I like the image layout with Pamela Tiffin blended in. Gold features bar is a good shout :)

They both look really good but I do prefer the second one. I like how the special features box lines up with the pool.

i like both version. the SF box lining up with the pool as sauron stated looks great. the only part that sticks out to me is Paul's image. i.e. he's huge :D

For two of the suggestions -- changing the SF box to light yellow and flipping the front sky -- I like the result, but I also really like how it was, so it's kind of a toss-up:

For me, I like it much more with the yellow, for sure!
