Looking good. I don't think much of the cutouts of the twins though
You may be planning to do these but don't forget:
• On the shining, you should add a similar gradient to the background grunge shape as you have on Doctor Sleep. Right now, it is a solid blue (123e49).
• Don't forget to match the noise overall
• When you mask the twins, try and match the curves etc to the kid on the bike in Doctor Sleep
• Add a similar grunge mask to the title

yeah thanks bazzah, i am planning to do those
. i find it easier looking at the doctor sleep next to it to try and match correctly, does anyone have a better resolution of the twins, i've scoured the lengths of google with no vail

Good suggestions from everyone... I agree with what’s already been said!
Perhaps shrink the word “The†above “Shining?â€
I understand why you’re keeping the font size consistent and filling the same space as the “Doctor Sleep†title, but this is an instance where you can bend the rules on consistency a bit.
In the case of “Doctor Sleep,†both words are equally important. As an article, “The†has much less importance than “Shining,†so it looks weird to me to have both words with the same level of emphasis and scale.

I agree with Kernie, if you move the tracking/kerning between the characters closer together you can make the "Shining" bigger and even though "The" will be smaller the overall height of both will be close to what Dr Sleep is.

I think the twins could be smaller, that would help with the detail some as well, ie smaller = less detail shows, this can help where image quality is less than one would like.
