Very nice man :)

just a tip....
One thing I always do is to change my lightview on my screen so I can check the black(change the contrast to high and the brightness to high)..
this will help you see where it needs editing by clone brush and so forth...
So this is one way to almost make sure that your scans wont get rejected.....I think ;)

Can't wait to see what you will contribute :)

Thank you for the kind replies eggzoOr, cooper, kylumi and manwe. Also thanks manwe, for the tip about changing the lightview and contrast. I will try it. Right now I usually just enlarge the file to 200% to look for small discrepancies but I forgot to recheck the 2 rejected ones after I sharpened them. Sharpening brings out those flaws. Sorry about that.

Scanning covers can be harder than creating them from scratch sometimes. I've scanned some before that barely needed any touchups, others were horrible. Covers with a lot of black can be especially hard to scan. All the custom ones look good though, liked Das Boot.

Actually Das Boot and The Killer are really scans which really took a lot of work to get them just right. Would one of the moderators please relocate them for me...thank you. Here are two more covers which I have uploaded for your review:

Breaking News

The Duel

I hope you like them!

breaking news has a lot of bad black stuff going on ..................particularly around the spine and crossing over into the features and synopsis box........
There is also a great big black spot opposite the P in PALM

The 2nd movie is a really good scan

Yes, all the scans are my own. I am sorry I overlooked the black spot on Breaking News. I reworked it a bit and replaced the original file. Please have a look again, kylumi.

Hello kylumi, thanks for taking the time to analyze my cover. I really appreciate the constructive comments. I couldn't see the spot on my monitor but I have redone the black with levels and it should be okay now. I just tried to clone the spot out before but I think now, by using levels it is gone and the black is even throughout the cover. Your comments are always welcome. Thank you.
