Safe House
Not sure why you are going purple on this, for me it's just not working at all. I also think the character are way too much tilted atm. I think, red/black would be a better fit, or "normal colors", but keep it dark/greyish. Here's a quick example I made. I think the TT would look better tilted as well.

Thanks.
I must admit I really hate the red version!
IMO the purple is sexier.
As to the background - doesn't it look too much like a surf movie with Cape Town as backdrop?

Tried white text, and it looked odd. Made the corridor more prominent. Tilted Ryan and Denzel a tad.

Thanks Felipe!Arkflip wrote:QUOTE (Arkflip @ Oct 29 2018, 07:40 PM) So far, I can only see one issue to correct and it's related with the light above them, that isn't suppose to be there as you don't have a strong light source that reflect on them.
Simply removed the light above them. How's this?

Here I thought my in-progress collaboration with M0vieM0nster was special -- it turns out the fellow has been pushing his pixels all over town! I feel so cheap.
The pieces you have look good so far, and your overall treatment is cool, but there's a bit too much sameness at the moment.
For instance, maybe make the title in white (and/or maybe make the tag line or actors' names a normal weight?) rather than everything in the purple heavy all-caps?
Likewise, maybe bring in a little white/gray to some of the smoke and maybe make Reynolds' sweatshirt a bit more grey?
Maybe a little more light to the right of Denzel's arm to help separate him from the background?
Nice work so far, especially given the limited resources. It always surprises me when a big movie (especially one with as huge of a star as Denzel Washington) doesn't have a big lineup of great shots available.
This ended up getting a bit too pink, but just as an example of bringing in a little extra depth to the purple background:
