as for movies i watched because of the poster, well i certainly fell for some horrible sci-fi movies that had a decent poster, but
i can't think of one right off the top of my head right now.

I'm with invisigoth on Swimming Pool and Samourai on Le Samouraï -- I didn't know much about either one going in but was intrigued enough by their posters to try each (after seeing their favorable IMDB ratings).
