Sure you could make it extend farther down then but I'd drop the fade either way

I'm trying to do a color overlay with a blending mode to get that image of the chicks in the back to match the front. What color did you guys use? trying to get it right.

Not sure exactly what I did, but here's one way to achieve it:
Image > Adjustments > Exposure > Exposure -50, offset +0,0020, Gamma correction 1,25.
Color Balance (midtones +80, +5, -70) (highlights +30, -10, -45) (shadows 0, 0, +10)
Curves (4 points) from left, (point 1, Output 120, input 0), (point 2, Output 90, input 51), (point 3, Output 190, input 160), (point 1, Output 255, input 255). Hope it's understandable

Exposure you meant -5? The exposure levels go from -20 to +20

Speed. I dunno what exposure number you're talkin' about there but it's only plausible it be 0.50 maybe?
here's the result i got but i don't think it was what you're thinking. Are you're numbers correct?

Haha! yeah, -0.50
edit: I noticed you are applying adjustment layers, I only did the changes to the image layer itself. Try that.
If you want, I can make the changes for you. Not sure why you got the result you did.

Can i send you my psd of the altered image?
If the settings are the same it's strange that my final result isn't the same as yours. I'll re-apply them and send them to you if you could please check it out. I'll message you with the image

I would have a play around with all the image adjustments to make it close to how you want it, I've been messing around with it and came up with this but it's not like what Speedzor created and it's a lot darker. Take a look at the different layers I have used...
