Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen!

I don't know... I don't like the word Anthology for this context, to me an "anthology" is a large volume of collected stories, not just three. And the word "anthology" itself is too long. I want to keep whatever word I choose around 6 letters or less, since the largest words in the film titles are "Batman" and "Knight." Nolan keeps the words he uses in the titles both short and sweet.
I'm not 100% sold on the word Legacy either, but I can't find a better word. I don't like how "Legend," "Saga," or "Epic" sound, either. So I felt Legacy was a good choice... especially given the themes of the films.

Lookin' good so far Kernie.
As far as Legacy VS Anthology or what have you... For some reason The Dark Knight 'Defined' is striking me. I don't know what it is or why or that it's any better than what's been used or suggested and it's more characters then you mentioned you want to use. I'm just sayin it's leaving an impression on me for some reason.
Can't wait to see where this one goes.

i quite like the defined idea, be different to many other trilogies out there.
The defined idea also reminds me of the words he spoke in the first movie “It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you.â€...
fantastic start as always kernie.
Always love the work you put in on the front of covers, but it's the back layouts and art design together with perfectly placed text that enhances your covers that much further.

Slight update... I'm still working on gathering pieces for the remaining villains (Two-Face, Scarecrow, and Ra's Al Ghul).

What was done...
- Added some fire and debris in the background. I know the fire on the left is blue, but you know what? Screw it... I kind of like it!
- Shifted everything up a little bit.
- Removed the sparks in the foreground. Kept the rain. Started adding some tiny splashes of rain off the characters (probably not visible in the preview).
- Some overall level/saturation/etc. adjustments.
I also changed the title from "The Dark Knight Legacy" to "Legends of the Dark Knight." Here are my reasons for the new title:
- "Legends of the Dark Knight" was the title of a Batman comic book from 1989-2007. It dealt with stories set in the pre-Robin "Year One" timeframe (much like this film series).
- Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul tells Bruce Wayne in "Batman Begins" that he must make himself more than a man... he must become a legend in order to strike fear in criminals' hearts.
- Legends and Legacy... has a similar ring to it.
- Legends could be a synonym for "stories," and this collection would include the three Nolan-directed stories starring the Dark Knight.
I'm open to debating the new title, if anyone thinks they have something better, but I think this one is a keeper!

superb - I agree that Legends is great. A slight change to just LEGEND of the Dark Knight could work as well.
Also be careful of making it look like all these characters are on the same team like your Avengers cover.
Got a feeling this will end up right next to your Avengers cover on my shelf!
