Great start, Jpeg!

I agree - the characters could be a bit darker. It might also look nice if you could enhance the explosion logo thingy in the background, and perhaps add a small amount of orange/yellow glow to the characters?

Explosion enhanced and enlarged some...character levels adjusted....but look too dark
to me.....could just be my monitor though.

* saturation
* brightness
* contrast

I think RP has a valid point. It is an amazing background, but it's a bit busy. Perhaps try a slight blur to the background, and also add a lower opacity vingette so that you can see the background, but it's not as busy?
