If you wanna use a barcode you need to use it respecting the original.
What's the point to have a fake barcode on a cover? In this case if you or Felipe think the barcode is too big just remove it from the cover.
Star Wars
Agreed. In what instance does a custom cover need a barcode (other than to mimic the look of a retail cover)? The way I see it, barcodes on customs serve no functional purpose and they take away valuable design space. I'd lose it entirely.
And I agree 100% with all of Arkflip's posts above. Synopsis point size is still too small, and the length of the synopsis is too long (do you need to make the distinction that Darth Vader is played by one person and voiced by another in the synopsis?). I also question the image quality at full size, but as Arky said, it could just be the preview...

Have to totally agree with ark. and kernie here, you really need to fix the sypnosis. Your overall work seems fine, but the little stuff is killing you, don't blow these guys off as you did with me and Cool Hand Luke, you could find it difficult to get help in the future if you do, we're only trying to help. I learned from the ground up right here in the WIP, and am very proud of that and those who helped me, so enjoy, learn and have fun.
i added grain to the entire cover to give the covers a distinctive look in the series to show their age. I was planning to enter the DVD barcodes on the new ones and replace them when the actual blu-ray is released. Ill removed the Darth Vader actor info for the sake of space as for the other actor's names. The pictures on the front of luke, i wanted to find rare pictures that would give the most unique fronts for a star wars cover to date. I'll play around with the synopsis
Thanks for your help! :arms:
And Chef please drop the cool hand luke thing it has really gotten annoying, I did what I felt to be right and i really dont need to be hounded by it, for some covers I find out later in the WIP that is best to go off on my own, but for a big one like this, a series i need help

Here's what i think.
It's really hard to beat Druzan's artwork. He did the best artwork for the Star Wars series and only a few people can produce a similar work (in this case Josh aka SXS and most probably Voetz).
Scaramanga did (imo) a few years ago the best covers for the Star Wars series. And then Daniel (UBL) did a splendid work with his gold series. And it's hard now to beat these guys.
I don't wanna sound harsh or rude and most important i don't wanna give the idea that you should give up on this. But to be honest, and i do respect your idea of trying something different for the front artwork, i don't think you'll achieve a fantastic or great collection using the images you are using now. Felipe's idea looks better for the front and as we don't need a billion of covers for the titles, why don't you two try to collaborate and give us the chance to see a better result?

Okay Arkflip
I'm going in a new direction that will not only match the blu-ray case but I think suits the movie more with a dark tone. I'm thinking about adding in characters behind him as well. Tell me what you think!

I think it's the right direction.
Adding other characters would certainly be a good way to go. These films are big, flashy, and epic in their scope, and I think more characters would help to reflect that in the cover. I didn't mind the single shots of Luke, but they made the films feel small and intimate and didn't really show off the large universe and cast of characters of the series.
Whatever you decide to do, I like where it's going...
